Our Grade 2/3 class built a butterfly garden in 2006 that has been maintained and enjoyed every year. The garden contains echinacea, black eyed susans, liatris and of course, milkweed! We have spotted adult Monarchs nectaring on the flowers over the past few years, and last fall we found our first monarch caterpillar!
