Much to our disappointment the tulips were chewed down within hours of seeing them as "emerged". I'm wishing that the next observation will give us hope that we might see a few blooms. We believe the deer had a mid-day snack as there were hoof prints everywhere and the mulch was scattered around. It's possible they missed a few.
