Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/05/2011

Number: 1

Yesterday it was an amazing spring day here in Virginia. Temperatures were in the low 80's with full sun all day. Our class definitely had Spring Fever and even found a little extra time to be Observer Scientists/Artists. Our tulips seemed to like it too. We had one tulip ready to pop open, but it hadn't quite. Several more were well on their way, but we thought at least a couple of days. Well, today our whole garden is painted with red! When I collected my students from recess, they were all lining the fence looking at the tulips rather than playing! Only a few left to bloom now!
