Some of our tulips are blooming and some are not. Yesterday we thought they would bloom because it was hot. Instead they bloomed this cold windy morning. The tulips' tops are pointy like fresh red crayons. They are soft and beautiful. They feel like fuzzy fabric. They feel like fingernail polish. They have a yellow and dark purple center. The pollen looks like dried blood.
