Numbers increased slightly at the Private Property site in Big Sur, Andrew Molera State Park, and the Sanctuary, and they dropped slightly at Point Lobos. It rained off/on throughout counts. The average number of monarchs counted this week at the Monarch Sanctuary in Pacific Grove was 4,967.
