Count were done on 30 November to 1 December. Weather was cool in the early morning with clear to overcast skies. All sites were counted by two counters (thanks Wesley!). One small cluster finally counted at Plaskett Creek Campground. Andrew Molera State Park was counted late in the morning during warm weather, many fliers present and somewhat difficult to count. Average number of monarchs counted at the sanctuary was 5366.
