Skies were clear and temperatures mild. At Point Lobos, only one cluster was found in the area monarchs were previously located. No clusters could be located at Andrew Molera, all monarchs appeared to be scattered throughout the area. Clusters at the private property site in Big Sur remain sheltered in a dense stand of trees and challenging to count. A greater number of clusters were found at Plaskett Creek in the typical area.
