Temperatures were warm and skies were clear. The overall average number of monarchs counted throughout Monterey county decreased during this week of counts. The average number of monarchs counted at the Pacific Grove Sanctuary was 1,732. No clusters were observed at Point Lobos, Andrew Molera, or Plaskett Creek.
