Weather was cool to moderate with overcast skies and intermittent drizzle on Wednesday. The number of monarchs counted decreased at most sites in Monterey county. The only slight increase occurred at the private property site in Big Sur. The average number of monarchs counted at the Pacific Grove Sanctuary was 1,177. No clusters were oberved at Plaskett Creek, Andrew Molera, or Point Lobos.
