Counts were conducted from 8-12 November. The weather was cool with clear skies and warmed up quickly. After the brief rain we had the weekend prior, some of the clusters moved into the protection of the groves. Monarchs are still arriving; counts are increasing, not as dramatically as last week but still increasing nonetheless. The number of monarchs counted at Pismo on 11/11 was 14,000.
