Conditions were cold in the early morning and warmed up quickly. Most of the sites decreased slightly. Lots of matings were observed during counts, and we even saw some monarchs attempting to mate while still clustered together in the trees. Tags continue to be detected at Halcyon & Oceano. There appears to be a fair bit of movement between sites, as tags are also being detected at Pismo, SLO Cemetery and Los Osos.
