Counts were delayed a day due to the tsunami warning and evacuation of the state parks. But the monarchs and the groves did not sustain any damages. Counting conditions were warm and sunny, and monarchs were clustered in small groups. The number of monarchs continues to decrease. The average number of monarchs counted at Pismo was 424. Tags continued to be located at Oceano and Pismo this week.
