been watching all the birds in our area for years. have kept records of the hummingbirds arrival and departure for yrs. the earliest was last year...mar 29th.. this year was the second earliest...but always in the first 7 to 10 days of april. we feed all the birds and try to plant bird friendly shrubs and flowers to attract, feed and shelter them.
