Just today we spotted 5-7 monarchs! They were fluttering around the area that we've designated for our butterfly garden, so it was a good sign! We will have to go on a hunt for milkweed. Two years ago we found some monarch larvae on what I'm assuming was milkweed on a fence row bordering our school grounds. Last spring we looked for them again, but there was nothing. That's why we are anxious to get some growing again.
