Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/07/2011

Number: 1

Looked out my bedroom window and spotted a Ruby-throated Hummer
sitting on the feeder. We put out a feeder about 2 weeks ago and saw no hummers. We changed the sugar water and the wind had blown most of it out of the feeder while swinging it in the air. It was very little left in the feeder so I refilled it and added another feeder hoping this hummer would bring more hummers to feed. The way it was on the feeder I could not tell if it was a male or female hummer.
