Pat Kerr of Bruce Mines, Ontario reports the following:
Four male red winged back birds arrived with the snow a couple days ago (April 5/11). They stayed huddled between the feeder and the cedars for a full day but are gone on now. The ice is breaking up under the bridge to the island but the bay and inland lakes are still covered. kerrpad@sympatico.ca
