As with many other signs of spring, maple syrup run has been sporadic on calendar in MN but producers report a bountiful crop. Twin Cities radio this a.m. reported some producers saying run just about over for year, except where new vacuum extraction technology is in place. Has anyone else tried mixing
homemade syrup with fish oil? My late legally blind Aunt mixed two jars together by mistake a few years ago and I have to say the fish were delicious! Did you know winter fish have a type of sugary anti-freeze in their blood? Perhaps that's another
reason to drill holes in the ice.
