Had our first Monarch of the year visiting a blooming Lilac bush
before sundown Friday night -- other sightings Sat. and Sun. in our yard and 3 miles north of Partridge, KS Sat afternoon (at a friend's house.) Haven't seen any milkweed yet, but plenty of nectar sources for butterflies & bees!apple, mulberry, lilac, dandelion, sandhill plum & cherry blooms)
