Today we noticed that most of our tulips have bloomed over the weekend, but several have been eaten by the local deer population. We have two blooms are notibly smaller (about two to three times smaller) than the other blooms and slightly wilted on the ends of each petal. A couple of experiments have produced more than one bloom. There has been a noticable increase in temperature during the past few days (into the 80s) and it rained over the weekend.
