Tues. morning the tulips were up, but none were blooming. The weather was warm, so by afternoon we had several of our tulips in bloom. This year we planted narcissis bulbs with our tulip bulbs to keep out the forest critters. Loads of the narcissis bulbs emerged when our tulips emerged. None of our tulips have been eaten yet by the animals nearby. It is our best year in years for the amount of tulip bulbs that lasted to this point. We are very pleased!
