I finally saw the first butterfly weed leaves emerging in my front yard. Of course, it did help that I actually got out there & removed some of the fallen oak leaves from the flower bed! Many monarchs have been drifting through the front & back yards over the past week. I was relieved to find that they now have a place in my yard to lay their eggs!
