I saw 3 monarchs. One 4 miles west of Moundridge KS about 3:00 pm, one on the SW edge of Newton, KS about 4:30 p.m., and one in my yard, SE of Inman KS about 6:30. I saw one on 4/13/11 in a park in NE Wichita about 4:00 p.m. The one I saw in Wichita was an older, faded butterfly. I'm not sure about the 3 seen on 4/12. We were driving.
