Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 03/28/2011

Number: 1

The tulips planted by Miss Flannigan's fifth graders began blooming on March 28, 2011. We had snow on our tulips because we had a early spring snowfall on March 27. The snow melted during the day and didn't harm our tulips. The red official Journey North tulips bloomed before our experimental mixed colored tulips. Our garden was in full bloom during the first week of April. The students were happy and excited to observe their tulips blooming after waiting all winter for them to emerge and bloom.
