The day after I spotted the large, very faded adult behind the building at 700 W Liberty in Downtown Louisville, KY, I checked the A. tuberosa butterfly milkweed in the front rain garden at that address. Yep! There they were. Monarch eggs were on all of the sprouting clumps.
