I rolled out onto the deck and turned on the sprinkler for the backyard ... had a large, bright, new female monarch fly up out of the A. curassavica and go to an overhanging hackberry. First "new" monarch we've seen so far this spring. Have a chrysalide hanging in the dining room that is seems a bit dark.
