Late afternoon, one came to my kitchen window right where I have kept a feeder for the past couple years. Hovered and faced me as if to let me know he was back. I hurriedly filled a feeder and put it out, later he was perched on the feeder sipping happily. Last year my first sighting was April 23rd, this year April 17. Today, April 18, as I am writing this, he is back at the feeder for day two!
