Our 1st tulips have finally bloomed! We will be curious to see how the cold weather here in Oregon's Willamette Valley effects the growth of our tulips now that they have started to bloom. We continue to monitor and record the week-day, above and below surface temperatures in our garden area. We are recording this data for the entire time we are participating with this year's tulip study. Next, we use our data to help us make weather predictions in our garden. Finally, we use this information to compare with the data collected by other schools participating with the Journey North program in the United States.
