I first notice a bird in a tree crossing a bridge over the Conn. River from So. Hadley, MA into Holyoke, MA. The white head was quite noticeable and I was positive it was an eagle. The next day I took my camera and sure enough it was a bald eagle. I can see the nest and the eagle, however once the leaves come out it will be invisible. I have crossed that bridge many, many times and have never noticed a nest or eagle in that location. I was very excited about the sighting.
