We have been recording the soil temperature and height of our tulip plants ever since the emerged on Valentine's Day. They have finally bloomed! The soil temperature has been hooving between 38 and 47 degrees. Yesterday the soil temperature was 47 degrees and the height of our tallest plant was 42 cm. About half of our tulips have bloomed. They look very springy even if the weather doesn't.
