Gibbs Monarch Butterfly Park in H.B. Ca.
We have had only a few monarchs and I think this is due to our cold weather. I can see eggs but no chrysalis and found 2 caterpillars. Today 4/24/ I observed one huge male flying very fast, back and forth from the park to the neighbors yard. We have not seen any faded or tattered butterflies. No migration has come through and I consider this butterfly a local.
