The robins have finally reached Grande Prairie. I started seeing groups of birds on Thursday but still no singing. The robins are over a week later than usual, probably because the snow is taking a long time to melt this year. Most open areas and fields are now snow free but there is still lots of snow in the woods. A snow storm two weeks ago in central and southern Alberta also likely slowed the birds down.
