Jogging along road - in the distance, (approximately 1/4 mile away)I saw a large bird swoop down into a field. I hoped it was an eagle, but I didn't see the head. As I continued my jog, I came upon a group picnic. They told me that there was a bald eagle in the field eating its catch. Sure enough, I was able to get a glimpse of the white head as it dined. Very exciting.
