10:40amedst. 74degF. Sunny, some cumulus. Dandelion, purple and blue & white violets in bloom. My backyard garden: 6 large cup narcissus lost their flower petals; 6 Triumph tulips with 1 yellow, 1 yellow and red, 6 red and 1 purple bloom and 6 Dutch iris not yet budding(total of 18 bulbs). Planted more bulbs last Monday (04/18/11)for grand total of 44 bulbs; incl. 15 more purple/white/yellow Dutch iris expected to bloom this spring/summer.
