A monarch landed on a Siberian elm tree early evening on April 26 and left by 8:00 am April 27 after it stopped raining. The pictures are not the best, but you can tell it's a monarch. I didn't believe my 8 year old son when he said he saw a monarch in our suburban backyard. I thought he may of seen a comma or ? mark. So when the monarch later landed on our elm tree, I had to apologize to him!
