Two of our tulips have bloomed in the test garden – a beautiful bright red! The rest look like they are on the verge of blooming. In our courtyard garden (microclimate) the tulips have not yet bloomed but they look as if they will very soon. The leaves in the courtyard garden are taller and look healthier. In our test garden, although the tulips have bloomed earlier, the leaves are not as high or as healthy. Many look as if they have been eaten (perhaps by squirrels) or have been subjected to school traffic.
