I had monarchs lay over 40 eggs on my very tiny milkweed plants a couple of weeks ago. I was able to find more plants at a local nursery and now have 30 monarch cats on those plants on my screen porch. There are still more eggs, so I'm sure I'll have more on the safety of my screen porch soon. This is the first time they have laid eggs on my plants in spring, so I'm excited to raise them in spring and fall this year!
