Quinton, a Kindergarten student who was in my Pre-Kindergarten class last year, saw me at the end of the day and said, "Ms. Walker, I saw a Monarch butterfly!" When asked how he knew it was a Monarch, he replied,"Because is was black and orange and I just know!" So since we have 4 milkweed sprouts in our garden (we sighted one more today), we will look for more butterflies and eggs!
