The first observation came at 5:41PM today. The second sighting of a different individual came a few minutes later at 6:00. Both came to a feeder that has been in my maple tree for less than two weeks. It went up a little early to reward the first arriving birds. The feeder is in the same spot as last year that attracted a number of individuals. A second feeder is going up tonight in another tree close by.
