"A Bay Harbor summer resident won the Great Lake Charlevoix Ice Out event.

John Osher bought a ticket in the contest in which the winner guesses closest to when a 200-pound boulder falls through the ice south of the Boyne City municipal marina. Osher bought the ticket, but a friend, Jeanine Rouleau, guessed the time at 8:12 a.m. on April 10.

The boulder plunged through the ice at 8:22 a.m., 10 minutes after Rouleau's bet."
