Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 04/28/2011

Number: 1

We have fields full of Common Milkweed, and almost every plant has at least one, and usually more, Monarch caterpillars. There are several different instars on most plants. We have have never seen this many caterpillars. We usually find them in certain patches. It will be interesting to see how many make it to the adult stage.
