Yes! The tulips in the butterfly garden are blooming earlier than the ones in our microclimate garden even though the microclimate tulips emerged earlier! Our theory for this mystery is the difference in the amount of snow that was plowed over the butterfly garden...much more than the microclimate garden that is more sheltered.
