A fleeting glimpse of my brilliant orange and black friend as he landed in the tree next to me to say "hi!" Then watched as he dropped down to the deck and investigated my unplanted window boxes where I have staged orange sections for him in past years - as if to tell me to set the table quickly! What a pleasure!
