When I was outside working in the garden, I heard the familiar little squeak. I think the hummingbird mustn't have been too far above me because I saw its shadow as it flew overhead. It's almost as if it was telling me to hang its feeder out for it. I thought they'd soon be here and just mixed some sugar water up the day before.
