After searching for over a week I have found the first milkweed plants this year. They are growing up through the pavement by Goodrich School building. I have not yet seen the beginnings of plants in open areas even the more sunny locations. The Common Milkweed plants near the building are 3-8 inches tall with several leaves and no eggs.
