We were on Spring Break from April 16 to the 26. We think it was around Thursday the 21 when our tulips first boomed. It has been a long time since our tulips firt emerged. We had a few warm days but mostly really cold ones. When our tuplips started to grow well they were visited by rabbits or deer who liked to eat them. Spreading garlic powder seemed to help keep them away so we could have beautiful red tulips.
