Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/02/2011

Number: 1

Another faded female nectaring and laying eggs, visited my backyard. She was more tattered than the female that came on 4/28/11. But, we have had some bad thunder storms. This could be the same Monarch, but a bit more weathered. I brought in 23 eggs from the female on 4/28/11. They have hatched, which is 4 days inside. Outside the egg that I left from the group that I took inside has still not hatched. We have had some cool weather due to the continued rain.
