12:30pm, 81 degrees, windy, sunny -- Lots of monarch activity, 3 egg-laying, 2 flying, 1 nectaring in the pasture. Also several more nectaring on each of the two chinaberry trees in our yard.

Today the indoor-raised caterpillar (first I found in the field as a first instar on 3/20/11) changed into a chrysalis.
