Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/02/2011

Number: 1

Finally one of my little male Ruby-throated Hummers has made it to my feeder. A little later this year than usual. We are about 5 weeks behind with our spring flowers and trees budding. I do not think this is my usual dominate male, he never sits when feeding and usually arrives first in spring. This little male sits with each feeding and usually gets chased away by the dominate male. I hope my dominate male is OK and arrives soon.
