When we returned to our northern home on 3/30/11 we had a number of robins already here and starting to get settled. I've counted 6 male robins seen on my front yard and on our neighbors. They all seem to get along and know their territory. I watch them as they are checking for worms, insects, etc in the lawn but have not seen them gathering nesting material. I suspect their nests are all cuddling at this point. They report an alert when I step outside with my "grand-dog," a yellow Lab. It's such a pleasure to see and hear them.
