Tulips EMERGED

Date: 05/02/2011

Number: 1

Only about ¼ of the tulip bulbs our class planted in the Fall have emerged. The garden may have been damaged when the roof of our school building was cleard of heavy snow.
This is the second year my class has participated in the tulip project. Last year during spring recess (4/19 - 4/23/10), all of our tulips blossomed. This year’s spring recess was also 4/18 - 4/22 -- 2 weeks ago! We've had a cold and very snowy winter, and an extremely wet and cool spring so far. We are alittle disappointed. We will let you know where they bloom.
